Richard Heasman is the founder and editor of The Critique. Holding a bachelors degree in History & Journalism came after reading a mixture of Robert Fisk and Christopher Hedges.  

Davide Castro is the co-founder and editor of The Critique. Davide holds a bachelors degree in International Relations & Politics.

 

Inspirations include Noam Chomsky and Slavoj Zizek.

But there is also beauty to be found, even in the darkest corners. The Critique intends to promote such beauty by raising awareness of social projects that reflect the good deeds of many human beings; whether that be towards the preservation of our environment, the support of the weak and impoverished, or those who campaign for equality between all men and women.

 

The Critique was established with a view to critically engage in social and political issues that affect us all, on a day to day basis. Each month will see a new theme investigated, using a wide spectrum of writers that bring unique and distinguished view points. We believe that the mainstream press fails to properly analyse many issues of great importance to humanity, as citizens of a decaying social order.

We believe that a society lacking in a wide variety of critics is one lacking the tools it needs to progress efficiently. The Critique promises a small payment to those who contribute outstanding works towards the Editorial Themes.
